So here it goes!

10 ) Design Splat

Design Splat is my love! I honestly love finding designers and featuring them. My aim is to take it to the next level. I love what it’s about and how many people actually visit and read it and the requests I get from it.

9 ) Seek out Family Tree and go back further than what my grandfather did.

May seem a little boring but I think everyone should find out where they came from and who their ancestors are. I love looking at my family tree and being amazed at how complex one family can be!

8 ) Travel around the world.

Travelling around the world is something I have always wanted to do. I have only been abroad twice (once to Toronto and once to Barcelona) and it’s something I loved! Seeing how other countries live, the different culture and different experiences that can be had.

I would love to visit the 7 wonders of the world, go to Las Vegas, watch the Northern Lights, visit the Pyramids, travel America, go to Switzerland, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and Amsterdam and to visit every beach in the UK. I’m sure there’s more but I can’t think!

7 ) Voluteer Work

To give, help and be unselfish. Last summer I was considering volunteer work to do for this summer but being a student the lack of money meant I couldn’t do it. After gradating I think it would be a good experience to do volunteer work teaching, building facilities or working with animals. Giving something back to the people who aren’t as fortunate as us.

6 ) See Lady Gaga! (again)

On the 3rd of March 2010 I went to see Lady Gaga in concert at the CIA in Cardiff. She put on an AMAZING performance – so amazing I passed out :/ The sheer excitement and lack of fluid and the heat in there was too much for me. (Sorry to the woman who I nutted in front of me as I fell forward.) I was absolutely GUTTED because I got taken out of the Gold Circle and was sitting on the side with my pint of water trying to feel less pants and enjoy what I could see. From the performance she gave I would LOVE to see her again and not pass out!

5 ) Tie up loose ends.

Get revenge, sweet revenge, shout at the people who have p****ed me off and the ones who have taken me for granted. Tell them all exactly how I feel. Let my closest friends know how much they mean to me and how grateful I am to have them and apologise to all those who need apologising to.

4 ) Tone up and Look after myself!

I need to tone up my legs and stomach and get back the body I had before. I have cut alcohol out completely due to a number of reasons and need to start looking after myself properly! Learning a new sport/activity and putting a fun edge on exercising is something I need to do!

3 ) Become a millionaire!

Okay so everyone wants to be rich and be a millionaire, I would love to be able to not worry about money, love to know I have enough for food the following week and to be able to not be in debt! Being a student has pushed my drive for this even more. Having an obsession with designer labels doesn’t help matters either!

2 ) Ace my degree!

I have been at University for 3 years now (eek scary thought!) My first year here I did a Foundation Course in Design. Which led me on to choose my degree in BA Interior Design. I love uni life and would even consider another degree in design. I can’t get enough!

1 ) Keep life interesting by having many desires and live life to the max!

Having many desires in life keeps things new and fresh and more importantly interesting. Every week I have a new desire, something I would love to do with life, learn in life or career paths I would like to choose and the list is getting quite long but it keeps it interesting! Without these desires I think I would be a boring person with no creativity and no personality. Life is given to you once, make the most of it and do what makes you happy even if it is something a little wacky! I will reach out and grab every opportunity with both hands and make life something special.

The brief was to Design a Desktop Wallpaper based around Formula One.

It was set up as for the current users of Design Forums in conjunction with a new blog due to be launched this weekend F1 Creative. F1 Creative will be a blog based around design and creative talk from across the world.

Back in March 2009 (nearly a year!) I decided to make a Design Blog. Being a young designer myself, I don’t feel that some people get the exposure and recognition they deserve. So I went ahead and set up the blog. It has prooved quite popular and is growing every week!

The Design Splat Blog has been set up to give new talent the exposure they deserve. The blog has features on certain artitst/photographers/designers/animators/models etc around that I have found and think would make an interesting read to all interested in Design!

I post to the Design Splat Blog every Monday with new talent that I have come across!
